Chris Micallef is a Refrigeration & Technology Engineer with extensive technical Knowledge in VRF and High-tech, DC inverter innovation technologies. With over 20 years of R&D technical skills in DC modulation systems. He is the CEO of the Falkonair Group of companies, overseeing all technology innovations. Chris manages international sales, clients, and distributors. He is also the inventor of our new solar thermal panel. This panel has unique features which directly integrates with refrigeration systems.

Chris received his diploma in Electrical & Electronics Technology in 1988. He then continued his expansion of knowledge, Graduating in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning City & Guilds Level in 1992. Finally, he graduated in Technology Engineering with a B.sc (Hon) in 1995. From 2000 till 2002, he had the opportunity to work with the R&D team of a large VRF manufacturer, developing and perfecting the three pipe VRF system. Chris is an ASHRAE member. Over the last 25 years, Chris has successfully managed multiple international air conditioning businesses, and continued developing his experience and talent traveling all over the world lecturing multi-national groups about solar thermal technology for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications.

Jason Markham is an electronics and software engineer with extensive technical and software experience, with over 30 years of hands-on technical skills. Jason currently works at Falkonair Manufacturing Ltd, Malta. His main role is researching various environments and their refrigeration scenarios that consume a vast amount of energy in the current market and design an eco-viable solution to minimize energy consumption, thus making the customer more energy efficient.
As the R&D Technical Director in charge, he is responsible for the research, design and development of Falkonair products produced by the company which also includes designing the electronic hardware and writing the required software for the developed product. Jason is certified in Electronics Servicing from City & Guilds of London Institute (1992), with an International Diploma in Computer Studies from NCC Education, Manchester (2003), an HND Diploma in Computing and Systems Development from BTEC Pearson Education, London (2014), and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, Herts (2016).

Sharon is our Finance & Operations Director and oversees all aspects of finance & general operation functions for all Falkonair companies.

Her qualifications include a BTEC National in Business & Finance along with being a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (14 years PQE). Sharon has over twenty- eight years’ experience in finance, administration and logistics across retail and green energy companies.

Mr. Tim Romberger is the Director of Contracts and Compliance for Falkonair Inc.
He additionally serves as Secretary of Falkonair and is a corporate officer. Mr. Romberger provides leadership, coordination, and administration for a diverse portfolio of contracts, programs, and services for the company in addition to managing regulatory compliance for the board of directors, government affairs and public policy activities both domestically and internationally.

Prior to joining Falkonair, Mr. Romberger worked for several national and regional law firms representing an assortment of start-up and established companies in contract oversight and compliance in a wide array of industries, as well as providing practical outside services as a general counsel. Mr. Romberger was raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended the University of Delaware, the Penn State University Dickinson School of Law and Georgetown Law.

Dave Dillon is a dynamic sales and business development leader with 26 years in factory and industrial automation and more than a decade specializing in variable frequency drives. Having attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, David has built his career by helping end users, OEMs, and channel partners transform the way they operate through smarter automation and innovative energy-saving technologies. Known for elevating sales teams to record-breaking performance, he blends technical expertise with a passion for driving growth and building strong industry relationships. As Vice President of Business Development at Falkonair, David is focused on accelerating market adoption of cutting-edge solutions that redefine energy efficiency in HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller systems.
